     Lost Lake is always a pleasure to visit. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Absaroka Range has to offer. There are great places to explore along the Buffalo Plateau Trail. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range rocks! Some close by water includes Lost Creek, and don’t forget to have a look at Pleasant Valley since you're here at Lost Lake. At Lost Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months  
   in a year May is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
Going for a hike on the Coyote Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and lakes are such peaceful sites, why not explore Rainy Lake. Summer at Lost Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures
 
               at Lost Lake sink into the 10's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Lost Lake. Don't leave Lost Lake without first going for a hike along the Yellowstone River Trail, and a spree to Lost Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Lost Creek Falls.
Lost Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range. You'll stumble on a pretty lake called Floating Island Lake near Lost Lake, and camping is available at Lava Creek Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a great choice, and camping at Tower Fall Campground is always a pleasant experience.
