Lost Lake is pretty dry ordinarily; May is when you get the most rain here; January meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Lost Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 30's with temperatures at Lost Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights.       Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in close proximity to Lost Lake. Near Lost Lake you come across the Circle Trail which is a great hiking trail, and Lost Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Upper Nash Fork Campground is a good local campground. The top of Coyote Hill is easily seen from Lost Lake; the Overland Trail is a fine hiking trail nearby. On a pleasant day at Lost Lake you can take a hike along the Arlington Pack Trail,                  and at Lost Lake you always meet someone from Laramie. This lake is so wonderful.
