Beaver Ponds is a splendid lake next to Lost Lake, and going for a hike on the Circle Trail is always a brilliant adventure. During the days of summer here at Lost Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Lost Lake temperatures drop to the 10's. At Lost Lake you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a
year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Rock River Koa Kampground while you're here at Lost Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail nearby called the Overland Trail. The wonderful people of Laramie like to hang out nearby; the slopes of Snowy Range are so inviting noone can resist. So many entertaining things to do here at Lost Lake, too glorious to be true. The summit of Coyote

Hill can be observed from Lost Lake, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Arlington Pack Trail.
Lakes? Sure, Sevenmile Lake is close at hand, and if you came for an overnight stay Upper Nash Fork Campground is a glorious place to camp.
