You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting things the Absaroka Range has to offer. A pleasant site to camp here at Long Lake is Long       Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork Yellowstone River; the Beartooth Loop National Recreation Trail offers hiking at its best. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Absaroka Range rocks! Long Lake is right by the Beauty Lake Trail, and you can never get enough of the tremendous skiing at Red Lodge Mountain. Get drenched paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and do visit Fort Lake, it's a                  striking lake. A beautiful lake like Rainbow Lake right next door to Long Lake is a tremendous spot to visit; why not take a refreshing hike along the Lewis and Clark Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Long Lake, and the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, usually in the 30's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Long Lake.
