Long Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Penrose Park Trail, and Otter Lake is a good lake nearby. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more fun things to do in the Bighorn Mountains. Why not stop at South Fork Pond Dam since you're here, and paddling on Powder River - North Fork is so much fun.

the driest month.
