While you're here at Long Lake, you could also pop by stunning Turpin Reservoir; you can go for a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail. High temperatures at Long Lake through the warm days of summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's with temperatures at Long Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is one of the great places       here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Long Lake you will meet lots of folks from nearby Laramie, and why not camp at Bow River Campground since you're here at Long Lake. Man, is there heaps of cool stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and nice hiking is available along the Lakes Trail. So much exciting stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow                  Mountains, too delightful to be true. Deep Creek Campground is a wonderful local campground. Stillwater Park is a good location to check out, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Long Lake; Circle Trail is a fine local trail. All the outdoors amusing stuff close to Long Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Do check out Burritt Lake near Long Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Snowy Range while you're here.
