Many people like to go to Lonesome Lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Absaroka Range. This lake is so wonderful. All year is a brilliant time in the Absaroka Range if you adore the outdoors. Going for a hike on the Beartooth Highlakes Trail is always a splendid adventure; get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River.

From Lonesome Lake you acquire a fine panorama of Lonesome Mountain, and a glorious place for whitewater paddling is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Absaroka Range. Beartooth Lake Campground is a great local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Clay Butte Trail.

the neighborhood of Lonesome Lake, and Beartooth Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. While you're here at Lonesome Lake, you could also go to lovely Abandoned Lake, and Yodeler Motel is a brilliant place to get some rest.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Lonesome Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 30's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Lonesome Lake sink into the 0's.
