If you came to camp Top Of The World Campground is a brilliant site to do that, and don't leave Lonesome Lake without first going for a hike along the Beauty Lake Trail. Lonesome Lake is located in the Absaroka Range. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Abandoned Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you come at the right time of year,       Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some brilliant whitewater. This location, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Lonesome Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Lonesome Lake; there are wonderful spots to explore along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and a good nearby hotel is Yodeler Motel. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the wonderful skiing at Red Lodge                  Mountain; there's pleasant hiking along the Clay Butte Trail. The yearly rain here at Lonesome Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is June; October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lonesome Lake, you could also stop by striking Lonesome Lake. There's so much to do here at Lonesome Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beartooth Lake Campground is a wonderful location for that. Summertime highs at Lonesome Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 30's.
