     The beauty of Lonesome Lake attracts many people from all around. Not much precipitation falls here at Lonesome Lake; most of the rain falls all through May, and December is when it's the driest. Man, is there heaps of fun stuff to do in the Wind River Range. Block Tower is an attention-grabbing place to explore while at Lonesome Lake, and there's whitewater on Bull Lake Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. This site rocks, just check out all the exciting  
   things to do right next door to Lonesome Lake. If you're here, you might as well explore Jackass Pass, and Camels Hump is wonderful and can be made out from here.
So much cool stuff to do here in the Wind River Range, too wonderful to be true. A nice spot to camp here at Lonesome Lake is Big Sandy Campground; nearby you locate the Shadow Lake Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful.                Lodge is a great choice. For the duration of the warmest time of the year at Lonesome Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's; the night is quite chillier of course, mostly in the 40's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Lonesome Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll stumble on a wonderful lake called Black Joe Lake near Lonesome Lake, and why not camp at Dickinson Creek Campground while you're here at Lonesome Lake. If the weather is perfect here at Lonesome Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lizard Head Trail, and a scenic lake like Papoose Lake is a splendid site to go to. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range.
Lost Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and the Big Sunday Trail is a pleasant hiking trail nearby.
