If only every site had this much outdoors entertaining things, what a great world it would be. A nice site to camp here at Lonesome Lake is Big Sandy Campground, and do take a hike on the Lizard Head Trail. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Big Sunday Trail, and at Lonesome Lake you can catch a glimpse of Camels Hump. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here       at Lonesome Lake you can take a hike along the Shadow Lake Trail; dry warm beds await you at Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous site to go to in close proximity to Lonesome Lake is Jackass Pass. It is very dehydrated here at Lonesome Lake ordinarily; May is when you get the most rain here, and December on the other hand is the driest.
