Through the summertime highs here at Lone Tree Reservoir reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lone Tree Reservoir are in the 0's. There are other places here than Lone Tree Reservoir, for example Sportsman Reservoir, and First Gold Inn is a brilliant place to get some       rest. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork is so much fun. Lone Tree Dam is a place that is near Lone Tree Reservoir; hiking along the Killpecker Trail is glorious fun. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Lone Tree Reservoir. You're sure to encounter some good folks from Laramie here, and going for a hike along the North Lone Pine Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
