Yep, outdoors fun things truly is plentiful here in the Wind River Range. Texas Pass is a perfect location to go to close by, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Bull Lake Creek. Little Washakie Lake is pretty dried out commonly; May is when you get the most rain here, and December is the month with the least moisture. Little Washakie Lake is one of the lakes here in the Wind River Range.       This lake is so wonderful. Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a tremendous site to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Bears Ears Trail. Good hiking is available along the Shadow Lake Trail. Lakes? Sure, Papoose Lake is in close proximity. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Little Washakie Lake, too perfect to be true. Camping at Big Sandy Campground is always a tremendous experience; don't leave Little Washakie Lake without first going for a                  hike along the Lizard Head Trail. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Wind River Range. Some of the water close by flows, like Grave Creek; you acquire a brilliant view of Bair Peak from here. At Little Washakie Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Little Washakie Lake are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Dickinson Creek Campground; not far from Little Washakie Lake you'll stumble on Twin Lakes which is a wonderful lake.
