Go to Little Shell Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. There are great sites to explore along the North High Park Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Little Shell Lake has to offer, you can camp at Upper Paint Rock Lake Campground. Take a little journey to Porcupine Creek if you're here at Little Shell Lake, and going for a hike on the Edelman Trail is always a great adventure. Yeah, come up here to the Bighorn Mountains for a great time.

| | If you come at the right time of year, Paintrock Creek offers some fine whitewater, and you can hit the slopes at Antelope Butte in the neighborhood.
It is very dried out here at Little Shell Lake ordinarily; April is the month that gets the most snow while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Little Shell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Medicine Lodge Lake Campground is a great location | |

for that; Big Horn Ski has great slopes and a friendly staff. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the area close to Little Shell Lake has to offer. If you need a location to stay The Passage Resort at Big
Horn is a fine choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Tongue River.
The Bighorn Mountains scenery is always beautiful. The warmest time of the year at Little Shell Lake comes
with high temperatures in the 60's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are frequently in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Little Shell Lake. Be careful
coming to the Bighorn Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Go for a hike on the Main Paint Rock Trail.
