Summer at Little Moose Lake arrives with high temperatures in
the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 30's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Little Moose Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's
tremendous hiking along the Lake Reno Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Clarks Fork Yellowstone River offers some great whitewater. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Shrew Lake, and camping at Crazy Creek Campground is always a fine experience.
