At Little Long Lake you don’t see much rain; May is when you get the most rain here; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Little Long Lake you can take a hike along the Circle Trail; Mirror Lake Campground is a glorious local campground. Going for a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and a nice close by hotel       is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC. Little Long Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. And if that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do right next door to Little Long Lake. You can never get enough of the good skiing at Snowy Range, and Lewis Lake Campground is a splendid campground nearby. So much cool stuff to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains, too good to be true. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Lakes Trail; if you've had enough                  of Little Long Lake, Mirror Lake is close by. All year is a splendid time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. On a delightful day you get a sight of Medicine Bow Peak from Little Long Lake; the landscape is dominated by the Snowy Range. At First Enlargement of Wiant Dam close to Little Long Lake there are some out of the ordinary things to see, and North Platte River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You could also have a look at Bellamy Lake since you're here at Little Long Lake; it's nearby. Through the summertime months highs here at Little Long Lake reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
