Good hiking is available along the Fayette Cutoff Trail, and if you need a site to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Pinedale is a brilliant choice. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Pole Creek, and if you came to camp Half Moon Campground is a brilliant location to do that. Summertime at Little Half Moon Lake arrives with high temperatures       in the 70's while night lows are regularly in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; nighttime lows throughout the winter for Little Half Moon Lake tend to be in the-10's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Little Half Moon Lake; Fayette Lake Trail is a delightful local trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Pinedale Inn. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy                  this spot. Go for a hike on the Half Moon Trail. Man, is there plenty of entertaining stuff to do in the Wind River Range. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Little Half Moon Lake is Boulder Creek. There's so much to do here at Little Half Moon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Half Moon Campground is a perfect place for that.
