Go to Little Bear Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. A great close by hotel is Yodeler Motel, and you can go for a hike on the Lewis and Clark Trail. Any time is a good time at Little Bear Lake if you love the outdoors. A good spot for whitewater paddling near Little Bear Lake is Clarks Fork Yellowstone River, and going for a hike on the Beauty Lake Trail is always a glorious adventure. Chain Lakes is a nearby

You can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in the neighborhood of Little Bear Lake; if you get bored of Little Bear Lake you could also pop by nearby Long Lake.
