What a place this is for outdoors people. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Lily Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Creek Campground; you're perhaps keen on lakes, Lost Lake is one of those close by. So much cool stuff to do in the Absaroka Range, not enough time. Gotta ski! Red Lodge Mountain       is a magnificent location to do that. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lily Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crazy Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that, and Lily Lake is right by the Copeland Lake Trail. You can run the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River near Lily Lake, and a quick journey to Lake Creek is definitely a splendid idea. Lily Lake gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; the month with most                  of the rain is June, and October is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Lily Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Lily Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. This site, the Absaroka Range, has so much outdoors exciting things. Crandall Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot in close proximity to Lily Lake, and hiking along the Squaw Creek Trail is tremendous fun.
