Lily Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Absaroka Range scenery is always beautiful. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun. Crazy Creek Campground is a fine campground nearby, and the skiing at Red Lodge Mountain is delightful. Lake Creek Campground is a great local campground; paddling on Clarks Fork Yellowstone River is so much fun.
All through the summertime highs here at Lily Lake reach the 70's. Summer nighttime

| | lows dip down to the 30's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Lily Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Crandall Creek, and the Lost Lake Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. An average amount of rainfall falls at Lily Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.

the Absaroka Range, just unbelievable. Visit Lake Creek while you're here at Lily Lake; close by you hit upon the Copeland Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Absaroka Range.
Lakes? Sure, Shrew Lake is around here, and going for a hike on the Squaw Creek Trail is always a good adventure.
