    Lily Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Lily Lake has it all. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Jack Creek Trail, and a good nearby hotel is Cody Cowboy Village. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Absaroka Range. If you need a spot to stay The Cody is a delightful choice; Yellowstone Valley Inn is a glorious local campground. This lake is  
   so wonderful. There's whitewater on Shoshone River for all you thrill seekers; Lily Lake is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Jack Creek Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby.
Summertime highs at Lily Lake usually tend to be in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Lily Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Not far from Lily Lake,
 
               you'll hit upon Irma Lake which is a delightful lake, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Greybull River. Lily Lake is one of the lakes here in the Absaroka Range.
Irma Lake Dam is striking and it's near Lily Lake, and Lily Lake is right by the Piney Creek Trail. If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Absaroka Range. Lakes? Sure, Swan Creek Number 2 Reservoir is in the vicinity, and hiking along the South Piney Trail is pleasant fun. This lake is so wonderful.
Lily Lake gets very little precipitation; the wettest month of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January.
