lakes here in the Absaroka Range.
This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Lily Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Irma Lake Dam, and Greybull River has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. All year is a good time in the Absaroka Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Lily Lake has it all. If you need a location to stay The Cody is a great choice, and going for a hike

along the Jack Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood.
Camping is available at Yellowstone Valley Inn; if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Shoshone River. It is very arid here at Lily Lake mostly; most of the rain falls throughout May while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much cool stuff to do here in the Absaroka Range, too nice to be true. If you came for an overnight stay Jack Creek Campground is a nice location to camp, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Piney Creek Trail.
