Lakes are such peaceful locations, why not visit Araster Reservoir close to Lily Lake, and the peak of Gold Hill can be seen from Lily Lake. You definitely must go for the Medicine Bow Mountains. The slopes of Snowy Range are so inviting noone can       resist; why not stop at nearby Arrastre Creek since you're here at Lily Lake. Lily Lake is a location that is relatively dried out mostly; May is when you get the most rain here while January is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Lily Lake, you can go for a hike along the Medicine Bow Trail; why not camp at Mirror Lake Campground if you're here at Lily Lake. There's just no way someone can get bored                  here at Lily Lake. On a wonderful day at Lily Lake you can take a hike along the Lakes Trail; paddling on North Platte River is so much fun. Lily Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The Circle Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Lily Lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Laramie here, also Araster Dam is worth a visit if you're here. High temperatures at Lily Lake during the summer months are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's.
