     The beauty of Lightning Lakes attracts many people from all around. Around Lightning Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; May is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. You're in all probability into lakes, Divide Lake is one of those nearby, and don't leave Lightning Lakes without first going for a hike along the Scab Sage Trail. Yep, outdoors entertaining things truly is abundant here in the Wind River Range. A perfect nearby  
   hotel is Best Western Pinedale Inn.
There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Halls Creek is a delightful site to visit, and why not camp at Scab Creek Campground since you're here at Lightning Lakes. This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. This lake is so wonderful. At Divide Dam in the vicinity of Lightning Lakes there are some interesting things to see, and there are great spots to look at along the Sage Basin
 
               Trail.
Lightning Lakes in fact is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Pole Creek; you can go for a hike on the Lowline Trail. For the period of the days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Lightning Lakes. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lightning Lakes. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Boulder Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Boulder Campground is a brilliant site to camp.
