Libby Lake is right by the Medicine Bow Trail, and Libby Lake sits in the shade of the Snowy Range. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Libby Lake, and the night is a tad chillier of course, typically in the 40's. Through the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Libby Lake. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing things the Medicine       Bow Mountains has to offer. A pleasant trip to Libby Flats is a glorious way to spend an afternoon, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Libby Lake; Circle Trail is a splendid local trail. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Snowy Range is magnificent, and a magnificent nearby hotel is The Sage And Sand Motel LLC. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Platte River, and why not camp                  at Lewis Lake Campground since you're here at Libby Lake. Libby Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls during May; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out close by Class Lake, and while you're here, you might as well go to Snowy Range Pass. Having a pleasant time at Libby Lake is painless. Mirror Lake Campground is a tremendous local campground, and naturally, this is a tremendous area for people who like lakes, Lewis Lake is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful.
