Lewis Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Mirror Lake Campground is a splendid place to camp nearby, and the Medicine Bow Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. You can run       the rapids of North Platte River right next door to Lewis Lake; the slopes of Snowy Range are so inviting nobody can resist. Lewis Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Medicine Bow Mountains has to offer. You could also check out Libby Lake while you're here at Lewis Lake; it's nearby; after a long day outdoors The Sage And Sand Motel LLC is a great location to spend a night or two. At                  Lewis Lake you don’t see much rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lewis Lake you can take a hike along the Circle Trail. Lewis Lake is not the only location nearby, Class Lake is a nearby lake; on a good day you can take a hike along the Lakes Trail. So much exciting stuff right next door to Lewis Lake, truly mind-blowing. Lewis Lake Campground is a good local campground, and Libby Flats is a perfect spot to check out. During the months of summer highs here at Lewis Lake get into the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 40's.
