This lake is so wonderful. Here at Leg Lake there are plenty of folks from Riverton; if you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Pronghorn Lodge is a nice choice. The Wind River Range scenery is always beautiful. So many amusing things in the Wind River Range, just amazing. Stay the night at Popo Agie Campground, and do take a hike on the Christina Lake Trail. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Wind River       Range. Have a great hiking adventure along the Petes Lake Trail. Leg Lake is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Fiddlers Lake Campground is a tremendous place to camp nearby, and Thumb Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Leg Lake. Leg Lake is right by the Stough Creek Basin Trail, and a fine close by hotel is Best Western Inn At Lander. For the period of the summer,                  highs usually are in the 80's at Leg Lake, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, regularly in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Leg Lake. Leg Lake is commonly a pretty dried out site; May is when you get the most rain here; December is when it's the driest.
