All year is a great time in the Bighorn Mountains if you like the outdoors. A fine close by hotel is Best Western Crossroads Inn. Just can't get enough of Lame Deer Lake. Go for a hike on the Angeline Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Tensleep Creek. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Bighorn Mountains, | |

too tremendous to be true. Lame Deer Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Sourdough Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and don't leave Lame Deer Lake without first going for a hike along the Solitude Trail.
It's a fine idea to go to Pass Creek, it's near Lame Deer Lake, and you'll stumble on a lovely lake called Rainy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Seven Brothers Lakes right next door to Lame Deer Lake, it's a charming lake,
and Circle Park Campground is a glorious local campground. Around Lame Deer Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; all through April this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is February.
