A fine close by hotel is Best Western Crossroads Inn. Just can't get enough of Lame Deer Lake. too tremendous to be true. Lame Deer Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Sourdough Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and don't leave Lame Deer Lake without first going for a hike along the Solitude Trail.
It's a fine idea to go to Pass Creek, it's near Lame Deer Lake, and you'll stumble on a lovely lake called Rainy Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Seven Brothers Lakes right next door to Lame Deer Lake, it's a charming lake,
and Circle Park Campground is a glorious local campground. Around Lame Deer Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; all through April this area sees the most snow; the driest month of the year is February.
