Lake Cook is a good site to visit for more than one day, Mountain View Campground is a good site to camp nearby; if you get bored of Lake Cook you could also pop by close by Cook Lake. That right there is loads of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Black Hills has it all. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Devils Tower Inn, and on a tremendous day you can take a hike along the Lanning Trail. If only every site       had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great planet it would be. Bear Lodge Campground is a nice campground nearby; while you're here you can take a hike along the Rauth Trail. Be careful coming to the Black Hills, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a place to stay Best Western Inn At Sundance is a good choice, and you can take a little trip to Lake Cook Dam since you're here at Lake Cook. Lake Cook is located in the Black                  Hills. Why not visit nearby Deer Creek while you're here at Lake Cook; a lake nearby is Hemler Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Simmons Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area; don't leave Lake Cook without first paying a visit to Scott Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Devils Tower National Monument is a pleasant national park. Lake Cook is pretty dried out mostly; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Lake Cook. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.
