Camping at Silver Lake Campground is always a splendid experience, and Araster Dam is a lovely place, without doubt worth going to. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on North Platte River, and going for a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail is always a great adventure. Camping is available at Mirror Lake Campground, and a magnificent nearby hotel is The Sage       And Sand Motel LLC. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Lakes Trail, and if you're going to from Laramie, you won't be the only one. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Knapp Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Knapp Lake dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights. Knapp Lake is located in the Medicine Bow Mountains. So much                  amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains, just inspiring. The summit of Gold Hill can be distinguished from Knapp Lake, and tremendous hiking is available along the Circle Trail. Knapp Lake is not the only site close by, Upper Missouri Lake is a close by lake, and a quick spree to Arrastre Creek is undeniably a glorious idea. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains. You could also go to Missouri Lakes while you're here at Knapp Lake; it's nearby, and the skiing at Snowy Range is great.
