Klondike Lake is usually a reasonably waterless spot; through the month of May you get the most rain around here; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's good hiking along the Lakes Trail, and the top of Browns Peak is easily spotted from Klondike Lake. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Klondike Lake is great! The Medicine Bow Trail offers hiking at its best, and why       not camp at Lewis Lake Campground while you're here at Klondike Lake. Through the warm days of summer here at Klondike Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's while Klondike Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. If you yearn for a little side journey, try Snowy Range Pass; there are other locations here than Klondike                  Lake, for example Mirror Lake. Yeah, come up here to the Medicine Bow Mountains for a splendid time. Very charming scenery and great skiing is what you get at Snowy Range; Mirror Lake Campground is a great local campground. Klondike Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back over and over.
