You could also check out Bellamy Lake if you're here at Klondike Lake; it's close by; the Snowy Range makes the scenery here brilliant. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Klondike Lake; Lakes Trail is a good local trail; the sight of picturesque Browns Peak is delightful. This lake is so wonderful. At Klondike Lake you don’t see much       rainfall; most of the rain falls during May while February is commonly the driest month. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Camping at Mirror Lake Campground is always a magnificent experience; good hiking is available along the Circle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on North Platte River is so much fun; Klondike Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Lewis Lake Campground                  is a pleasant local campground. What a place this is for outdoors folks. The Medicine Bow Trail offers hiking at its best, and Snowy Range is a very popular ski area close by. Throughout the summer at Klondike Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Klondike Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains.
