Kiewit Reservoir Number 1 is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, South Tongue Campground is a tremendous local campground; going for a hike on       the Wolf Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure. Soar down the rapids of Tongue River in a kayak, and hey, Gotta ski right? Big Horn Ski is a good site to do that. The slopes of Antelope Butte are so inviting nobody can resist, and dry warm beds await you at The Passage Resort at Big Horn. Kiewit Reservoir Number 2 is a delightful lake close to Kiewit Reservoir Number 1; close by you discover the Dry Fork Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. This lake                  is so wonderful. Camping at North Tongue River Campground is always a fine experience; getting to Taffner Creek from Kiewit Reservoir Number 1 is uncomplicated. This lake is so wonderful. Not much precipitation falls here at Kiewit Reservoir Number 1; through May this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the summertime months at Kiewit Reservoir Number 1 temperatures are regularly in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
