The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Keystone Reservoir tend to be in the 10's. Keystone Reservoir is ordinarily a reasonably arid spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest of the months is February. Keystone Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the       Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail in close proximity to Keystone Reservoir called the Medicine Bow Trail, and you're most likely keen on lakes, South Twin Lake is one of those close by. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool things to do here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. The scenery at Keystone Dam right next door to Keystone Reservoir is pretty, and after a long day outdoors The Sage                  And Sand Motel LLC is a good location to spend a night or two. This place is unbeatable, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the neighborhood of Keystone Reservoir. The sight of stunning Gold Hill near Keystone Reservoir is splendid; North Platte River is a wonderful whitewater spot nearby. Snowy Range has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and going for a hike on the Circle Trail is always a tremendous adventure. There's so much to do here at Keystone Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Mirror Lake Campground is a great spot for that. Lakes are wonderful; North Twin Lake is a lake that's close to Keystone Reservoir. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Near Keystone Reservoir you find the Lakes Trail which is a fine hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Keystone Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Silver Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
