    Kearney Lake is a lake worth visiting. Summertime highs at Kearney Lake usually tend to be in the 60's with night lows in the 30's. All through the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Kearney Lake tend to be in the 0's. Around Kearney Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; all through the month of April you get the most snow around here, and the driest month is February. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining  
   stuff close to Kearney Lake. Kearney Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Highland Park Campground is a good local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. Kearney Lake is right by the Stockwell Trail. Lakes are great; Beaver Lakes is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Kearney Lake. Kearney Lake is located in the Bighorn Mountains. Yeah, come up here to the Bighorn Mountains for a pleasant time. The Solitude Trail offers hiking at its best, and
 
               do go to Kearney Lake Dam if you're here.
There's wonderful hiking along the Penrose Park Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Tensleep Creek. A pleasant site to camp here at Kearney Lake is Little Goose Campground, and if you need a site to stay Sheridan-Days Inn is a pleasant choice.
