Kahn Reservoir is a magnificent location to visit for more than one day, Lakeview - Bighorn National Forest is a magnificent location to camp nearby, and some of the water nearby flows, like Wildcat Creek. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! Kahn Reservoir rocks! Dry warm beds await you at Candlewood Suites SHERIDAN; the Stockwell Trail offers hiking at its best.       This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for people from Sheridan; hiking is a popular thing to do around Kahn Reservoir; Story Penrose Trail is a great local trail. It is very dehydrated here at Kahn Reservoir frequently; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest of the months is February. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Kahn Reservoir. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures                  during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Kahn Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's. Dawson Draw is a good location to look at, and you don’t have to go far from Kahn Reservoir to catch a glimpse of the water at Kahn Dam. Peter D's RV Park is a fine local campground, and Quality Inn Sheridan is a wonderful place to get some rest.   Quality Inn Sheridan, Sheridan 6 miles away 100 percent non-smoking hotel.
