This lake is one of the great places here in the Wind River Range. A lake nearby is Divide Lake, and hiking along the Firehole Trail is nice fun. Man, is there plenty of fun stuff to do near Junction Lake. Stay the night at Boulder Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Boulder Creek. It is very waterless here at Junction Lake commonly; the month with most of the rain is May, and       the driest month of the year is February. Going for a hike along the Dream Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area, and Junction Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Scab Creek Campground is a great place to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Dream Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth checking out, and get soaked paddling on Bull Lake Creek. And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing                  stuff to do in the Wind River Range. If the weather is good here at Junction Lake, you can go for a hike along the Lake Isabella Trail, and the view of Halls Butte is stunning. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. If you need a location to stay Best Western Pinedale Inn is a wonderful choice. All through the days of summer highs here at Junction Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's.
