Jordon Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you need a place to stay Fountain Inn is a tremendous choice, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Pettigrew Trail. Around Jordon Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Be careful coming to the Black Hills,

| | you might not ever wanna return back home again. A tremendous location to camp here at Jordon Reservoir is Beaver Creek Campground; naturally Bear Run flows through this region. Jordon Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Black Hills. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby Parmlee Canyon is a fine spot to go if you're at Jordon Reservoir, and Jordon Dam is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. Why not camp at Moon Campground while you're here at Jordon | |

Reservoir, and if you're here, you could also stop by scenic Dolores Number 1 Reservoir. That right there is a heap of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Black Hills has it all. Martin Thompson Reservoir is a nearby lake
that you could go to, and going for a hike on the Rim Rock Trail is always a good adventure. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Jordon Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to
the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Jordon Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's. Auto Inn Motel is a nice site to get some rest; close by you stumble on the Iron Creek Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
