A good nearby hotel is Budget Host Wheels Inn, and do take a hike on the Dry Horse Trail. Be careful coming to Jones Reservoir, you might not ever want to return back home again. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Worland is a glorious site to spend a night or two. Jones Reservoir is usually a relatively dried up spot; the month with most of the rain is May, and December is the month       with the least moisture. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Jones Reservoir while night lows are mostly in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are frequently in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Jones Reservoir. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to distinguish at Perkins Dam right next door to Jones Reservoir, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Elkhorn Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater                  spots on Shell Creek. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Jones Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Greybull Koa Kampground. Jones Draw is right next door to Jones Reservoir and is absolutely a good place to stop by.
