If you are in Platte county it's always a good idea to stop by Jones Lake. If you came for an overnight stay 4w Ranch Campground is a splendid place to camp; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel, Wheatland, Wyoming is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a great little journey to Rock Creek; enjoy a round of golf at Wheatland Golf Club.

High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Jones Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. Why not camp at Mountain View Park if you're here at Jones Lake, and Best Western Torchlite Motor Inn is a great location to get some rest.
