There's always John W Griffen Dam to stop by right next door to John W Griffen Reservoir, and Little America Cheyenne is a perfect place to get some rest. During the warm months here at John W Griffen Reservoir, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, typically in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in  
   the 30's, and nighttime lows at John W Griffen Reservoir through the winter regularly descend into the 10's. Just can't get enough of John W Griffen Reservoir. Why not camp at A B Camping since you're here at John W Griffen Reservoir.
The great people of Cheyenne like to hang out close by, and obviously, this is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes, King Reservoir is a lake close by. After a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Cheyenne is a nice site to spend
 
               a night or two, and you're most likely keen on lakes, Fred Hersig Reservoir is one of those close by. John W Griffen Reservoir is mostly a pretty dehydrated place; during the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Spring Creek, and camping is available at WYO Campground.
