This lake is one of the great places here in the Owl Creek Mountains. Put some time aside to spend at Jergens Spring while you're here at Jergens Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wind River. If you like the outdoors, you'll adore Jergens Lake. Around Jergens Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; the month with most of the rain is May; January       on the other hand is the driest. Thermopolis Super 8 Motel is a splendid place to get some rest; going for a hike on the Johnson Trail is always a nice adventure. During the summertime highs here at Jergens Lake reach the 80's; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Jergens Lake. That right there is a heap of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Owl Creek Mountains                  has it all.
