If you came for an overnight stay Lewis Lake Campground is a magnificent spot to camp, and close by you find the Circle Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. You can run the rapids of North Platte River in close proximity to Jeff Lake; you can go for a hike on the Medicine Bow Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. For the duration                  of the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Jeff Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 40's.
