This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at James Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a magnificent place for that, and as expected, this is a pleasant region for folks who like lakes, Cavender Reservoir is a lake close at hand. Not much precipitation falls here at James Lake; the month with most of the                  rain is May, and January is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warm months here at James Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at James Lake are in the 10's. If the weather is good here at James Lake, you can go for a hike along the Arlington Pack Trail.
