Really great skiing awaits you at Snowy Range, and the Overland Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at James Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a pleasant place for                  that; after a long day outdoors Fairfield Inn & Suites Laramie is a fine location to spend a night or two.
