    If you are in this part of Wyoming make sure to pay a visit to James Lake. Go for a hike on the Overland Trail; dry warm beds await you at Fairfield Inn & Suites Laramie. Good hiking is available along the Arlington Pack Trail, and you're sure to come across some fine folks from Laramie here. A quick trip to Sevenmile Creek in the vicinity of James Lake is a magnificent idea; while you're here, you could also take a look at picturesque Cavender Reservoir.
 
   Man, is there lots of fun things to do next to James Lake. There's so much to do here at James Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock River Koa Kampground is a glorious place for that; everyone close by loves skiing at Snowy Range. Summertime highs at James Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to James Lake.
 
               At James Lake you don’t see much rain; May is the wettest month with most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Brooklyn Lake - Medicine Bow National Forest is a pleasant location to do that, and Cavender Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out.
