Why not stop by Jackson Lake if you're passing through these parts. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. After a long day outdoors Jenny Lake Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two, as expected you could also have a look at Christian Pond since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Gros Ventre River, and Grand Teton National Park is a perfect place nearby.

| | have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ditch Creek; hiking is a popular thing to do around Jackson Lake; Emma Matilda Lake Trail is a good local trail. Not far from Jackson Lake you get some fine water scenery at Jackson Lake Dam, and do check out Christian Creek while you're here at Jackson Lake. Jackson Lake gets a typical amount of rain; January is the month that gets the most snow, and July on the other hand is the driest.

Flagg Ranch is a great campground here, and fine hiking is available along the Hermitage Point Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Two Ocean Lake Trail offers hiking at its best; the view of Lunch Tree Hill is stunning. Colter Bay
Village is a brilliant location to get some rest, and camping at Jackson Lake is glorious fun, Signal Mountain Campground is a glorious local campground.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Jackson Lake. Once the sun is down it
descends down to the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Jackson Lake temperatures dip to the-10's.
