Jack Post Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. If you're visiting Jack Post Reservoir from Casper, you won't be the only one; the E-k Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. At Jack Post Reservoir you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during May, and the driest of the months is February. You can take a little visit to Jack Pot Dam since you're here at Jack Post Reservoir, and close by you stumble on the Okie Trail

Summer at Jack Post Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Jack Post Reservoir temperatures dip to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. | |
