outdoors cool stuff. The snow is magnificent at Red Lodge Mountain; drift down the rapids of Clarks Fork Yellowstone River in a kayak. Night Lake is a tremendous lake in the neighborhood of Island Lake; if the weather is nice,
you can go for a hike along the Beartooth Highlakes Trail. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Absaroka Range. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Island Lake has to
offer, you can camp at Island Lake Campground, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Beauty Lake Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Island Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 30's. High temperatures
throughout the winter are normally in the 20's with temperatures at Island Lake dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights.
