This lake is located in the wonderful Wind River Range. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Ink Wells. A lake close by is Don Lake; Ink Wells is great enough to spend more than a day at, Circle Up Camper Court Shop is a great local campground. All through the warm months highs here at Ink Wells get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in       the 30's; night lows all through the wintertime for Ink Wells tend to be in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Ink Wells you can take a hike along the Dry Creek Trail, and a nice close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dubois. There are some great whitewater spots on Wind River; if you came to camp Longhorn RV & Motel is a delightful spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Pinedale Inn is a great site to get some rest.                  There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Wind River Range. Double Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Downs Fork. Ink Wells is typically a quite dry spot; the wettest month of the year is frequently June, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. So many exciting things to do in the Wind River Range, not enough time. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Ink Wells Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wind River - East Fork.
