The amount of rainfall that falls at Indian Lake is close to the national average; through the month of January you get the most snow around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Just can't get enough of Indian Lake. Near Indian Lake you stumble on the North Bitch Creek Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail, and Teton Mountain View Lodge and RV Park is a great local campground. If you came for an overnight stay Cave       Falls Campground is a brilliant place to camp, and a magnificent close by hotel is Grand Targhee Ski And Summer Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little visit to Dog Creek since you're here at Indian Lake; there's some exciting stuff to spot at Indian Lake Dam close to Indian Lake. Summer at Indian Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are                  in the 20's while Indian Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Going for a hike on the Poacher Trail is always a good adventure; Teton Mountain View Lodge is a splendid location to get some rest. Everybody close by loves skiing at Grand Targhee, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Bitch Creek.
