It's always fun to stop by Indian Lake. Good hiking is available along the Boundary Creek Trail, and why not a little side trip to Dog Creek. Indian Lake is a pleasant place to camp, Bear Gulch Campground is a pleasant place; you can hit the slopes at Grand Targhee in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful.
Dry warm beds await you at Teton Mountain View Lodge, and don't leave Indian Lake without first going for a hike along the West Boundary Trail.

| | High temperatures at Indian Lake during the summer are in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Indian Lake. Indian Lake gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July.

brilliant water scenery is available at Indian Lake Dam next to Indian Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Indian Lake. Camping at Indian Lake is great fun, Cave Falls Campground is a great local campground, and you can go for a hike on the North Bitch Creek Trail.
