This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Ice Lake; Plateau Trail is a nice local trail; after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Gardiner is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Ice Lake during the months of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; winter nights come with       lows in the 0's to Ice Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors entertaining things just keep reading. Good hiking is available along the Ice Lakes Trail. Ice Lake is pretty arid commonly; the month with most of the rain is June; February on the other hand is the driest. Just can't get enough of the Absaroka Range. Camping is available at Canyon Campground, and a short spree to Virginia Cascade is always worthwhile. If you came for an overnight                  stay Bridge Bay Campground is a great place to camp; Comfort Inn Yellowstone North is a splendid site to get some rest. Ice Lake is located in the Absaroka Range.
