Campground is a fine site for that. This lake is so wonderful. Tongue River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; a glorious close by hotel is The Passage Resort at Big Horn. Going for a hike on the Dry Fork Trail is always
a nice adventure; if you came to camp Tongue River Campground is a delightful place to do that.
Huntington Dam is pretty and it's right next door to Huntington Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Wingate by Wyndham Sheridan
WY is a nice place to spend a night or two. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Big Horn Ski, and a quick journey to Dry Twin Creek is beyond doubt a glorious idea. Hit the slopes at Antelope Butte close by, and nearby you find the Roosevelt Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
