Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Huntington Reservoir with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Huntington Reservoir night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Tongue River Campground is a tremendous spot to camp, and some nearby water includes Dry Twin Creek.       If you need a spot to stay Ranchester Western Motel is a good choice, and Cool Enterprises is a good site to get some rest. Why not camp at Tongue Canyon Campground while you're here at Huntington Reservoir; there's glorious hiking along the Dry Fork Trail. Huntington Reservoir is pretty dried out usually; May is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is February. Very pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Big Horn Ski, and don't                  leave Huntington Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Roosevelt Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Yeah, come here to Huntington Reservoir for a pleasant time. Tongue River is a pleasant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Huntington Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Wolf Creek Trail.
