Hume Ponds is a lake worth visiting. Throughout the summertime months at Hume Ponds temperatures are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while Hume Ponds overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Sheridan Heights Dam is gorgeous and it's in close proximity to Hume Ponds; you can have a good hiking adventure

| | along the Bear Gulch Trail. So many entertaining things to do at Hume Ponds, so little time. While you're here at Hume Ponds you will meet lots of people from close by Sheridan, and why not camp at Bramble Motel and RV Park if you're here at Hume Ponds.
Take a hike on the Stockwell Trail, and there are other places here than Hume Ponds, for example Sheridan Heights Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Story Penrose | |

Trail, and Bald Mountain Campground - Bighorn National Forest is a fine local campground. Don't forget to take a nice little visit to Big Goose Creek, and Hume Ponds is in the vicinity of Cemetery Draw which is undeniably worth a
visit.
Holly Ponds is a splendid lake in close proximity to Hume Ponds, and if you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Sheridan is a nice choice. After a long day outdoors Best Western Sheridan Center is a wonderful place
to spend a night or two, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Antelope Butte is pretty near. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Sheridan Country Club.
Not much precipitation falls here at Hume Ponds; the month with most of the rain is May while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
