A pleasant site to camp here at Hot Lake is Bridge Bay Campground, and a visit to Broken Egg Spring will fill your soul with good feelings. Hot Lake is not the only spot close by, Firehole Lake is a close by lake; you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Summit Lake Trail. Al's Westward Ho Motel is a pleasant spot to get some rest. Why not camp at Canyon Campground since you're here       at Hot Lake, and Hot Lake is right by the Mallard Lake Trail. It is very dried up here at Hot Lake frequently; June is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is October. What a place this is for outdoors folks. A great close by hotel is Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel; do take a hike on the Fairy Creek Trail. Culex Basin is a brilliant place to stretch your legs a bit, and a great sight of beautiful Porcupine Hills is available. Summertime brings                  highs in the 70's to Hot Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 40's.
