    Horseshoe Reservoir is a lake worth visiting. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Horseshoe Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows at Horseshoe Reservoir all through the wintertime mostly descend into the 0's. Little Sand Draw is a tremendous location to check out near Horseshoe Reservoir; camping at Barrys Landing Campground  
   is always a splendid experience. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Horseshoe Reservoir has it all. Horseshoe Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Camp Big Horn RV Park is a great local campground.
After a long day outdoors WESTERN MOTEL is a magnificent site to spend a night or two, and there are pleasant sites to explore along the Burnt Trail. If you get bored of Horseshoe Reservoir, you could also check out close by Lone
 
               Hill Reservoir; if you need a place to stay Budget Host Wheels Inn is a good choice. Horseshoe Reservoir is a location that is quite dried up ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is June; the driest of the months is February.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Cedar Buttes Reservoir, and Horseshoe Dam is an interesting thing to check out.

Would recommend this place! Very dry, little cover so you are out in the hot sun. Fire restrictions, little water in Brown's spring and Cow Creek was dry. Very difficult to get to- horrible roads....
