Horseshoe Lake gets very little precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. So much cool stuff to do here in the Wind River Range, too fine to be true. Horseshoe Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Boulder Campground is a nice local campground, and paddling on Boulder Creek is so much fun. Hiking along the Horseshoe Lake       Trail is brilliant fun, and a great location to camp here at Horseshoe Lake is Boulder Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Little Fall Creek from Horseshoe Lake is uncomplicated, and Barnes Lake is a nice lake nearby. Going for a hike along the Ruff Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and a gorgeous lake like Edmond Lake is a fine place to take a look at. If the weather is tremendous here at Horseshoe Lake, you can go for a hike along the Timico Lake Trail, and get drenched paddling on Pole Creek.
