    Beautiful Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir has much to offer visitors. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do next to Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir. Go for a hike on the Gooseberry Trail, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can have a look at Rush Creek Dam. Take a little spree to Horse Creek if you're here at Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir; you can run the rapids of Shoshone River. After a long day outdoors Cody Legacy Inn and Suites is a great  
   spot to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Absaroka Bay Recreational Vehicle is a pleasant place to camp.
Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir, high temperatures generally get into the 80's while night lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir plunge into
 
               the 10's. Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir is pretty dried out commonly; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Timber Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and a cool spot to pop by is Meeteetse Rim. Why not camp at Cody Koa Kampground while you're here at Horse Creek Number 1 Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Yellowstone Valley Inn.
